James Albert Reber Funeral-Parish Record Strausstown, Oct 1917
James Albert REBER, son of Solomon G. and his wife, Elizabeth, nee DeTURK, was born Aug. 15, 1857, in Upper Tulpehocken Twp., and was baptized October, 1857, by Pastor Zehring. He was confirmed April 26, 1873, by Pastor Finfrock in the Zion church. He was married to Sarah BERTRAM, Nov. 23, 1878, by Pastor Finfrock. He died May 2, 1917, aged 59 years, 8 months and 17 days. He is survived by his widow, one sister and one brother. The funeral took place May 8, 1917, in Zion church. Text, Rev. 2:10.
