Death: Oct. 4, 1974

Donald H. Reber, 73, president and owner of Reber Machine and Tool Co., died unexpectedly Friday at home, 4300 Burlington Drive.
He was a Portland native, a graduate of Portland High School and a graduate of the School of Pharmacy at Purdue University.
He was associated with Hook Drug stores after graduating from college and remained with the company until starting his own business in 1942.
Mr. Reber was a member of the Portland Lutheran Church, Muncie Exchange Club, Elks Lodge 245, Purdue University Alumni, Purdue Club of Muncie and the Muncie-Delaware County Chamber of Commerce.
He was also a member of the Indiana Pharmaceutical Association, American Society of Tool and Manufacturing Engineers, National Tool and Die Association, and Magic City Men's Coffee Clatch.
Surviving are his wife, Georgia M., three sons, Don E. and David M., Muncie, and Jack R., Eaton; a sister, Mrs. Carrie Helsley, Napa, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Saturday adn before services there at 2 p.m. Sunday. Dr. Robert G. Sulanke will officiate. Entombment will be in the Elm Ridge Mausoleum at 10 a.m. Monday.
