Crystal M. Miller, 85
Crystal M. Miller, 85, rural Poneto, died at 6:37 a.m. Thursday, March 30, 2006 at her residence.
Born in Wells County on May 31, 1920 to Clell and Nellie Harris Murray, she married John E. Miller on Oct. 22, 1938. He preceded her in death on Dec. 29, 1994.
A 1938 graduate of Chester Center School, she was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm. She also worked as a nurse?s aid at Caylor-Nickel Clinic and retired from CTS in Berne after 22 years. She was an active member of Hope Missionary Church.
Other survivors include two sons, Kerry Miller of Bluffton and Dennis Miller of Zanesville; a sister, Mrs. Paul (Helen) Bryan of Geneva; three brothers, Earl Murray of Seymour, Bob Murray of Redkey and Don Murray of Hartford City; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Ned Murray.
Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Hope Missionary Church with Rev. Gary Aupperle and Rudy Frauhiger officiating. Calling hours are this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Thoma/Rich, Hewitt & Chaney Funeral Home in Bluffton, and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to the church.
