Reber, Adam H.
Adam H. Reber, living with his father-in-law, Jacob Shipe, at 728 Linden street, died on Tuesday of last week, of consumption. He was a son of Percival G. Reber, deceased, of Strausstown, Berks county, and lately stenographer for Richard Caffrey, Roadmaster of the Lehigh Valley railroad. He left a wife, nee Agnes Shipe, daughter of Jacob Shipe, to whom he was wedded on the 27th of April last. Deceased taught school for several years at Emaus, and later graduated from Dorney's Business College, this city. A year ago he entered Mr. Caffrey's employ as stenographer. He was a brother to H. L. Reber, Principal of the Emaus High school, and has three sisters and brothers in the West. The funeral took place on Saturday last at Emaus, services in St. John's Church, and interment in the Moravian cemetery. Rev. C. F. Schaffer officiated.
